Transition Drinks

We had a good turn out this Thursday with people manning the deck from 5 min to 7pm taking advantage of the happy hour. Very thrifty:)

Graham told us about the gigs planned for the 16th June  to celebrate the palette garden at the Railway Hotel pub, we talked about the next steps of our work setting up the community garden, Roger told us about the renewable energy technologies installed at his house and a conversation about solar water heaters and electrics bikes and all sorts ensued. Dave continues to investigate the ideas of starting up and building with straw bales and Pete continues the monthly meetings of the sustainability discussion group. Before I had to leave Sara came straight from her skill swap session.

Lively discussions, wine being spilt etc never boring meeting you all.

Might see you next time, next month and the Transition Potluck is just around the corner on the 8th of June.
