SE Essex Organic Gardeners would love you to join them at their next meeting on Monday 16 November, 8 – 10pm, at Growing Together Westcliff.

Please use the entrance in Prittlewell Chase, Westcliff-on-Sea SS0 9AG (corner of Fairfax Drive and Prittlewell Chase).

‘Soft Fruit Growing’ presented by Philip Fawcett – a presentation on the principles of soft fruit growing, involving cultivation, propagation and pruning

Philip has worked in horticulture for nearly 50 years. He started as a nurseryman moving to a 22-year period as a head gardener for a large estate near Colchester. Currently he works freelance for a variety of clients. His most recent project has involved preparing a 7-acre ‘open garden’ for the National Gardens Scheme near Tiptree. Philip is a member of Garden Organic. He also is a keen poultryman, showing at National Poultry Club events.

Non-members £2.00 – everyone is most welcome!
